At shootaround on Thursday, Karl-Anthony Towns expressed his enduring love for Minnesota despite being traded, stating, "I still consider Minnesota my home."
Thursday night when he was introduced — as a member of the visiting New York Knicks — first there was a tribute video.

Earlier in the day, Towns had said he was now an "avid Timberwolves fan" and still loves the city and the franchise.
