Mitchell Wiggins, a beloved NBA veteran who played six seasons in the league, has passed away at the age of 64. His daughter, along with the National Basketball Retired Players Association and the Houston Rockets franchise, have all shared the heartbreaking news on social media. Wiggins is the father of current Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins.

Wiggins, drafted 23rd overall by Indiana before having his rights traded to Chicago, averaged 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in his rookie season with the Bulls. He also played for the 1986 Western Conference champion Rockets. Wiggins played briefly for the Philadelphia 76ers.
