The Golden State Warriors provided an update on Monday regarding Stephen Curry's ankle injury. Thankfully, an MRI revealed that there is no structural damage, but Curry has been diagnosed with a left peroneal strain. As a result, he will be sidelined for the remainder of the week. Curry had to leave Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to this injury, but fans can rest assured that there is no long-term concern.
Curry tweaked his left ankle two different times against the Clippers, both in the second half. The first time he left the court but was able to return after just a few minutes. The second time, however, Curry rolled his ankle and limped off the court, visibly in pain. He was ruled out a few minutes later.

The Warriors said Curry will be reevaluated Friday, which means he'll miss at least the next two games (Oct. 29 and 30, both against the New Orleans Pelicans). Those will be the team's fourth and fifth games of the season. Through the first three games, the Warriors are 2-1.
