New Delhi: Vinod Kambli has been making headlines recently. In a recent program, he was seen with his former teammate Sachin Tendulkar, but Kambli appeared to be in poor health, struggling while speaking. The two cricketers had once played together at Shivaji Park under the guidance of coach Ramakant Achrekar.

They all have many records to their name which created a big stir in the World of cricket. But all of them were unsuccessful in breaking Vinod Kambli’s legendary record.

Vinod Kambli continued his explosive batting for Team India after his debut and scored 4 centuries in the first 7 matches, out of which two were double centuries. He also completed the fastest 1000 runs in Test matches for India. In a total of 14 innings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal came very close to breaking his record. But he did it in 16 innings. Kambli made his ODI debut for Team India in 1991, and played his last ODI. Kambli played 104 ODIs and 17 Test matches. He has scored a total of 3561 international runs.

Vinod Kambli was not selected for India’s ODI team after October 2000. His last ODI match was against Sri Lanka in Sharjah. In 2009, Kambli said goodbye to international cricket, while in 2011 he announced his retirement from first-class cricket. Left-handed batsman Kambli scored 1084 runs in Tests at an average of 54.20, which included four centuries and three half-centuries. In ODI International, he scored 2477 runs at an average of 32.59. In ODI International, Kambli scored two centuries and 14 half-centuries.
