New Delhi: The IPL 2025 Auction kicked off with only 84 out of 577 players being auctioned on Day 1. With a whopping 493 players still up for grabs, the final day of the auction is set to take place on November 25 with a more accelerated process. Auctioneer Mallika Sagar will be leading the faster-paced auction on Day 2 to ensure a quicker and more efficient sale of the remaining players.

A total of 132 slots remain to be filled across 10 franchises, out of the 204 available spots in the IPL 2025 Auction. On Day 2, players from registration number 85, starting with Mayank Agarwal and ending with Vijayakanth Viyaskanth at player No. 117 in Set No. 17, will be presented in the traditional auction process. The auction will kick off with Set 14, featuring capped batters (BA2), and continue with Set 17, covering all-rounders (AL2), wicketkeepers (WK2), fast bowlers (FA2), and spinners (SP2).

Once Set 17 is completed, the remaining players, from registration No. 118 to 577, will be auctioned through an accelerated process.

In the accelerated auction process, each franchise will submit a list of 25 players, who will then be auctioned in a fast-tracked phase. This will be followed by a second round, where franchises can nominate five unsold or unrepresented players, who will be auctioned next. The entire process will conclude after this final phase.
