Former Liverpool defender joins coaching staff at Salford City FC

Kelly is employed by a League Two team that is currently facing challenges, but is backed by owners who are former Manchester United players including Gary Neville, David Beckham, and Nicky Butt.

Salford, currently under manager Karl Robinson, are 16th in League Two.

Kelly played for the Ammies in preseason before joining the coaching staff, says The Sun.

Salford were beaten by Grimsby Town on Saturday.
